Sprues - Ork Trukk

Today I'm gonna post some pictures of the Ork Trukk sprues, surprisingly, it only comes with two sprues, though I believe that these two sprues should contain all the parts and upgrades for the Ork Trukk.

I will be assembling this after I'm done with my current 10 Shoota Boyz...

Sprues - Ork Battlewagon

I've took some back and front shots of the Battlewagon sprue before I actually took it out to assemble it. Here are the shots.

Simply beautiful! The sprues are amazing with it's weapon options, no doubt I'm gonna buy another one of these soon. Assembly only takes a few hours and it's easy to assemble.

For the Grot turret, I suggest anyone who wants to assemble it, go look for the Ork Battlewagon assembly tutorial in GW, this is because I followed the instruction manual and I got the Grot turret assembled wrongly.

This model also requires minimum filing, which is a pleasant thing. And also, it comes with 2 Ork bodies and 2 different Ork 'eads! Meaning that you can actually custimize some of your Orks!

"It's my first time assembling a vehicle... And I can say that this is fun! Painting it is quite easy too, hope I can finish it by tomorrow."

Sprues - Black Orcs and Warriors of Chaos

It has been an Orky week, and I intend to keep it that way too! But looky here, I bet some of you have thought of using the WarHammer Fantasy Black Orcs as your standard 'ard Boyz. So for all those who haven't seen the insides of the content, here's to show you how it all looks like so you can get an idea on how to convert the models to your taste.

The best thing is, their pose really makes a normal Ork Boy stand out, especially the ones with two handed poses.



There's a duplicate of each sprue shown here. and the Black Orc's bodies are actually solid plastic.




Now, to my beginning of WarHammer Fantasy. The reason why I chose Warriors of Chaos is because they're cheap, and they look good at the same time.

I wanted to do Skaven/Lizardmen/Dark Elves because Skaven's models are just awesome. But the new codex is "rumored" to be out sometime this year, and buying them will be insane. I really like Lizardmen, just that GW didn't make new Cold Ones for them, which really disappointed me. Dark Elves look really good too, just that Warriors of Chaos win them over. :)

The bits are just awesome, and amazingly, they fit quite nicely. I'm already working on them while waiting for my Orks to dry from the washes.

Sprues - Ork Boyz and Ork Nobz

Look at what came in the mail today. The first thing I though was, how cool would it be if I were to take pictures of every sprue that people want to see. Personally, I've been anxious on how they look like, what more when it comes to identifying what's wot?

This shall be the first step to create my Orky Waaaaagh! Here are some pictures.





These are from the Ork Nobz box. It comes with 4 Big Choppas, 3 Power Klaws, 8 Nob 'eads, 2 Nob Cybork 'ead, enough Choppas and Sluggas fer all. Lots of unique shoulder pads and lots of kombi weapons. The amount of weapons in the sprue is really amazing.







The Ork Boyz on the other hand, look quite good itself too. Though I feel a little disappointed when I saw that the Nob that came with them have relatively small legs compared to the new Nobz. Nevertheless, feast your eyes on the sprues.

I shall keep the Ork Trukk and Ork Warbikes for later.




I'm working on the Nobz for now, just to experiment the colours before I begin painting them in batches.
