Lots of hobby done over the week.

Yup, I've been hobbying like a mad man. Been painting my Sanguinary Priest, Furioso Dreadnought, and the Baal Predator which I managed to finish.

I magnetized the doors with the sponsons since it gives me a good option of saving points and it makes it easier to transport it.

I was also assembling the Chaos Decimator Daemon Engine. I started assembling this from 12 in the noon till 5:30am. Give and take a few hours for lunch and dinner. It was really difficult to assemble as the pose is influenced by the multiple joints and funny angles.

Got around airbrushing it with Gunmetal and highlighting it with Chrome Silver. Both are Tamiya paints of course.

Just a nice size comparison of the Decimator and a Dreadnought.

I'll be focusing solely on Flames of War this week. Gotta get everything done at least a few days before Bagration begins.

Lots of painting done in a week.

The past few weeks have been really busy for me. Getting a lot of things done for my shop and planning for War Without End, was also busy finishing all my assignments and exams for now too.

For no apparent reason, I dug out my Assault Squad to be painted. Even though I'm not using this squad in any games, I just painted them for fun when I was over at Yip's place for painting night. I made it a point that I WILL paint my Blood Angels when I'm there, whether or not I will use the unit. Even so, I painted these in less than 4 days.

I got a feeling that my bottle of Satin Varnish is going bad or something, it gave my squad a dusty frosted look. So I fixed it by airbrushing the usual GW Gloss Varnish and got the colour and shine I wanted.

I was also working on this little armoured car.

And the rest of the Firestorm Troops for Bagration and the rest of my German army to be repainted. I aim to finish these in the 2 weeks that I am free.

But I don't know why I'm so inclined to work on my Blood Angels. Maybe it's just an obsession or something. Even now, I got exactly 3,305 points painted and I've got another 3,000 points or so in line. No rest for the crazies! Gotta finish what I started.

More progress in a day than in a week.

Yup, the title really sums it up real good.

With only 1/3 of my assignments done, I managed to get what I greatly needed to finish, finished.

Funny part is that ever since my compressor was busted, lots of my painting progress came to a halt. I should really hunt for one soon.

Thanks to the much needed Hobby Night over at Legio, I finished all my airbrushing needs, temporarily.

You can see how the night went with this link:

Here are some pictures of mine.

I'm doing my best not to distract myself too much by painting my Eldar or Tyranids and I'll definitely want to finish my Blood Angels for Kindred 3 which will be happening in a few months time.

More Blood Angels.

For the past few weeks it has been assignment deadline week, which is why I was quite busy with my academic life for awhile. But nevertheless, I got to finish Lemartes, which took me about 2 nights to finish him.

I've started on a different part of the Blood Angels. And I definitely would want to finish these guys as an addition to my army.

It looks like I'll be quite busy until next week at least before I can focus more on painting my army.

Done with the Troops.

I've only got Astorath, Lemartes, and 2 more Stormravens to go before I call it done with the army. Though I might want to do a few variations to the army and see how it works, I might need to paint more guys too.

On a hobby roll.

I managed to finish at least 8 guys in the past 2 days. Given that I only get to paint at night these days and they're really difficult to finish, I'm quite happy with my pace.

These guys have too much detail, as much as I would love to paint the details, painting them really takes up your time. I've only got 4 more guys to paint before I can move on to painting Astorath and Lemartes.

Older projects.

I figured I might as well paint some of my Blood Angels while thinking of how to properly apply the hazard stripes on my Iron Warriors. Which is why currently there are so many models on my table.

It's still fun to paint the Death Company even though each of them takes a really long time.
